  1. Purposes For Storage Of Your Personal Data

This app collects your name, mobile number, email address, PAN and verifies Aadhaar Number linked with your Mobile Number as part of Know Your Customer (KYC) process and to uniquely identify you and to preventing frauds and unauthorized access.

We collect and monitor only your financial transactional SMS about bank-related transactions, the names of the transacting parties, a description of the transaction and the amount of the transaction for the purpose of performing credit risk assessment. This credit risk assessment enables us to perform a quicker loan disbursal. No personal SMS data is collected, read or stored.

  1. Location

This app collects the location data to help provide you with better loan offers, to verify addresses for KYC, reduce risk associated with your loan application and also to prevent any identity Fraud. We also collect this data when our App is running in the background of your mobile device.

  1. Contacts

This app collects and monitors the phonebook contacts to help you in providing references and auto-fill loan applications. We collect and monitor your contacts information including name, phone number, account type and other optional data. This helps in detecting fraudulent loan applications and reducing credit risk.

  1. Phone

This app collects and monitors specific information about your device including your hardware model, RAM, storage; unique device identifiers like IMEI, serial number, SSAID; SIM information that includes network operator, roaming state, MNC and MCC codes, WIFI information that includes MAC address and mobile network information to uniquely identify devices and to prevent fraud. This also helps in enriching your credit profile and providing you with the best loan offers according to your profile.

  1. Storage

This app can access the file stored on your device to help you submit your KYC documents, Bank statements and other required documents to complete the loan application process.

  1. Camera

This app needs camera access so that you can easily scan or capture required KYC documents and save time by allowing us to auto-fill relevant data or to initiate an audio/video call for KYC purpose. This ensures that you are provided with a seamless experience while using the application.

  1. Installed Applications

This app collects and monitor each installed applications metadata information that includes application and package name, installed and updated time, version name and version code for all applications installed on your device. We use this to assess your credit worthiness and provide you with pre-approved customised loan offers.

  1. Microphone

We require microphone permission to initiate two-way audio communication as a part of KYC journey. This may be stored for future verification purposes.

  1. Social Account Information

We require you to register using social accounts (Google or Facebook) to access the app. We may collect Personal data (name, photo, ASID) associated with that account for the purpose of verification and to populate relevant fields in the course of app interface.

How can users remove permissions for UrbanMoney app?

While your data is protected with us, if you still wish to remove the permissions from App – You can do the same from Phone Settings > Apps >UrbanMoney > Permissions > Remove the permissions which you would like to remove.

How can users request deletion of data?

You can request to delete your account related content from our servers based on applicable law by writing to our Grievance Officer. We’ll remove the data, which we are not required by law to retain as per government policies within 30 days of receiving your request. You may not be able to use our services at all after such deletion is done.

2.Optimization Of Customer Service

When You register as a User, we will collect Your name, email address, country, language, password, mobile phone number, IP-address, Device ID.

We will use Your contact details to send You a welcoming email/message to verify Your username and password, to communicate with You in response to Your inquiries, and to send You service-related announcements, for instance, if our Services are temporarily suspended for maintenance. We will use Your registration information to create and manage Your User account. We may deactivate Your account if we suspect that You use our Application to commit fraudulent or illegal acts or if You violate our terms of use.

When You use the service of the Application, the Website or the CC we provide, You don’t reveal any of Your personal information to the other Users except to potential Benefactors when you have applied for a loan as a Beneficiary or as party to a contract where you are either a Beneficiary or a Benefactor.

When you use UrbanMoney Application, Website, or CC services, Company may also collect partial payment data and other information associated with transactions that you make using debit or credit cards, online banking services, ecommerce web sites and apps, and mobile wallets by accessing, collecting, and analysing Your SMS inbox. Company may also collect from Your mobile telephone information about Your contact list, location, and usage of other applications in order to understand your behaviour. Company will only do this with Your prior consent. Company may also record the identity of the product or service in respect of such SMS messages, and the price or fee paid or payable in respect of such products or services.
